Skryhan-Leontchik

SONY DSCSkryhan-Leontchik is a Belorussian duo whose concerts are applauded all over the world. It is composed of two excellent musicians – Jan Skryhan (guitar) and Michael Leontchik (dulcimer).

Jan Skryhan was born in 1979 in Minsk, Belarus. He began his musical education in his native land and then continued to study in Cologne, Germany. Since the end of the nineties he has received numerous awards at international guitar contests in countries such as Poland, Germany, Austria and Japan.

Skryhan is accompanied by the dulcimer player – Michael Leontchik, a graduate of conservatories in Belarus and Germany. His unconventional way of thinking about music allows him to masterfully blend together such genres as classical music, jazz and folk. Already when he was 13, Leontchik gave concerts in several European countries. Today he is a mature musician who successfully performs all over the world.

Skryhan and Leontchik have been a duo since 2010. During this year’s Akademia Gitary they will give concerts on 22 August in Wągrowiec and on 24 August in Turek.
