Our guitar journey is reaching its end. The last opportunity to do some musical wandering is the festival’s final concert. During the performance we will visit as distant lands of Europe as Norway and Catalonia. We will be taken there by the work of Arianna Savall and Petter U Johansen who, together with their ensemble, are going to present their project called Hirundo Maris – “Songs of the South and the North”.

The festival’s opening night is already behind us. This year Akademia Gitary started from a very special concert. The guitarist Łukasz Kuropaczewski appeared on stage together with an extremely talented mandolin player – Avi Avital. Their scintillating performance was enthusiastically welcomed both in Gniezno and Poznań, ending with a standing ovation.
